Founder & Managing Director
Hendry Homes was founded by Edward Hendry, a Norfolk-born property professional with more than two decades of experience across the construction and housebuilding sectors.
His journey into development began long before his professional career. Growing up in a fourth-generation Norfolk farmhouse, Edward was acutely aware of the history of the wider family estate and how changing economic pressures had gradually reduced landholdings over successive generations. Reflecting on what had been lost, and the opportunities previous custodians were unable to realise, sparked a lasting interest in land, place and development, ultimately inspiring the ambition to build a development company of his own.
Since entering the housebuilding industry in 2014, Edward has held senior leadership roles with national and regional developers, progressing to Lead Director level and overseeing projects ranging from small developments to large-scale residential schemes. Along the way, he developed a deep understanding of what drives successful development - not just financially, but operationally and culturally.
Today, Hendry Homes combines that experience with a more personal approach to development. Edward remains actively involved in every project, ensuring the business stays true to its founding principles of honesty, integrity, fairness and delivering on commitments.
