One of the first renovation projects undertaken by Hendry Homes was in 1987 at Gadgirth Cottage. Over many years Iain has gained invaluable knowledge on managing many wide ranging and diverse traditional and contemporary projects from planning to completion.
Gadgirth Cottage was but a shell when purchased by Iain in 1987, a testing time followed with planning and eventually in late 1988 planning was granted.
The property needed extended, as well as fully renovated and ensured a quick and steep learning curve for the Hendry Homes team.
Once completed the accommodation comprised of lounge, conservatory, kitchen, dining room, w.c., family bathroom with spa, 3 bedrooms, master ensuite with fully landscaped gardens.
A more recent renovation project undertaken by Hendry Homes was Friendliehead Farm, By Mauchline, Ayrshire.
Bought in March 2005 by Hendry Homes, work started on site in the August, the plan to create four beautiful country homes developed over the coming months...
The condition of the farm and outbuildings was very poor and required major site clearance and renovation works.
