"Thank you so much for all the help and advice you have freely given us over the past 5 months. Words cannot express our delight and excitement as we prepare to move into our dream home, which has in fact exceeded all our hopes and expectations." Lisa & Andy

Hendry Homes have recently been involved in a number of exciting new build projects across Ayrshire and look forward to updating the website with detailed information and pictures in the near future. One area of new build work which Hendry Homes specialise in is oak timber frames with Gadgirth House an example of a recently completed project.

Hendry Homes have been involved in a wide variety of new build projects including domestic and commercial structures. A recent project saw the development of a detached 30sqm single story building to contain a large home office, a utility/garden room and wc.

This shot shows a new traditional build in the construction process. To the exterior you have concrete block which will have a render finish. To the inside you have a cavity then an insulated thermal block which will have a smooth plasterfinish.

The project required the full installation of all services including gas supply, electrics, drainage and water. Finished to a high standard the project included features such as electric underfloor heating, full height ceilings and solar thermal panels.

In addition to traditional new build and oak timber frame Hendry Homes also offer Scandinavian Log Buildings and are agents for Souranta Log Buildings liaising with the principal UK Agent based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.

These stunning solid log Scandinavian homes can be used for residential, holiday homes, sports clubs and wildlife centres.

Once you have your services in and reinforced concrete bases installed the lodges are very joinery intensive, the end product is amazing as you can see.

Features can include saunas, spa baths, sold pine floors, verandahs and authentic log burning stoves. Expert design and construction is paramount with Iain and his team offering just that.
